Columbia St. Mary’s Inc. in partnership with Kohl’s Corporation seeks a Board Certified Medical Director for the Kohl’s Wellness Center located in Menomonee Falls, WI. Kohl’s Wellness Center is a state of the art employer based health clinic. The center treats approximately 5,000 patients annually with about 24,000 visits. This unique physician role offers patient care, leadership and administrator responsibilities.
Practice in medical clinic up to 15 hours per week
Serve as Key consultant for organization on issues pertaining to:
Manage health, Wellness, and productivity strategy, programs, and processes (including Health Risk Assessments) – with the outcome of improving the health of Kohl’s Associates and their families.
Manage Medical / Care Management issues arising from benefit plans (plan design, large case management, disease management programs, clinical programs, claims issues, claims appeals, provider issues/access, etc.) – with the outcome of improving the efficiency and value of our benefit programs and ensuring patient satisfaction with the service and care received.
Manage issues arising from pre-employment drug testing short- and long-term disability plan, claim, or return-to-work issues.
Consult with Kohl’s Business Continuity Department on pandemic / emergency action plans and processes.
Provide consultation and support to Corporate Benefits Team in the areas of reducing health-related absences, and managing short-term disability.
Work under the leadership of Columbia St. Mary’s Inc., with a strong partnership with Kohl’s, clinic provider team, and Kohl’s vendor partners in the benefit space.
Perform clinical and non-clinical responsibilities for the Kohl’s Wellness Center.
Consult on impactful employee communication programs toward the items noted above.
Physician (M.D. or D.O.) with active license to practice medicine in Wisconsin without restriction, with experience in managing and administrating clinical programs.
Deep understanding of latest practices in chronic disease/condition management, tobacco cessation, obesity, evidence-based practice, etc. a plus.
Knowledge of network participation/utilization and claims administration a plus.
Board certification in occupational medicine, internal medicine, or family practice.
